Fed up with YouTube's Premiere feature delaying the one-shots, some intermission music for the YouTube uploads of the games was needed as the subscribers of the Lore By Night YouTube page get settled in the live chat. The tunes had to be upbeat with a groove, similar to the Lore By Night Productions theme.

"Let's Play A Game" was an interesting piece to write as its short snappy melody is first introduced with a vibraphone, which isn't the first instrument choice one would think of in an electronic dance track. I experimented with a load of plucky synth tones but every time I felt something more natural was needed. This led to the almost comical vibraphone choice, accompanied by saxophones in the repetition.
