about

It was decided early on that some of the elements from the first character creation-themed piece done for the Lore By Night folks (see "Mask of a Thousand Faces" on the Original Soundtrack for the Lore By Night podcast) would remain in place (the harp, choir & synth pads) to create a calm, relaxing piece that can wash over the listeners as The Lore By Night Podcast Guy goes through the character creation process of whatever game he is running solo.

Unlike the previous piece, this was to be much simpler and not build up in layers, which resulted in what I feel is a slightly sadder tone, amplified by the altered tuning across the parts, meaning it is not in Bb or B minor, but a strange middle ground in between.
