The outro piece to the Lore By Night Productions games was intended to be upbeat and jovial. A breath of fresh air after listening/watching an intense TTRPG session, aiding the post-session cooldowns, so to speak. It was the second piece I wrote for the Lore By Night Productions shows, and I feel it tonally fits with the main theme.

I treated it as something that would play at the credits of some slice of life anime, a group of friends who came together to save the world, which is kind of what people generally do when they play TTRPGs together. Whether it is a global thing or the town/city, the "world" is ultimately improved with the power of friendship...or so they say ;)

The song is built around the chords GM9, F#m7 and Bm7, a loop that makes it ambiguous to properly identify the tonal centre. What this does, in my mind at least, is create an air of melancholy that I felt worked well for accenting the (hopefully) viewer's enjoyment of what they watched.
